Horses

Meet the Herd

Our Equine Partners

CANTER’s carefully screened and specially trained horses help participants build confidence, balance, communication and connection.

Special Horses for a Special Mission

Temperament, soundness and suitability are carefully considered before a horse joins the program. Each equine partner receives ongoing training, conditioning and veterinary care.

Community-Supported Care

Donors and volunteers help provide feed, farrier visits, veterinary care, equipment, grooming and daily attention for every member of the herd.
